Here at Essex Veterinary Center most of the problems we see in reptiles are related to owners having the incorrect information on how to care their exotic pets. Bring in your reptile and we can come up with a detailed plan to address any husbandry flaws that may exist in your current setup as well as go over their diet to ensure you are meeting their nutritional requirements

Depending on the species of reptile, important things to consider in their care are: 
-Full spectrum UVB lighting (windows DO NOT count!)
-Temperatures and temperature gradient (hot to cold) in the enclosure
-Substrate, or ground cover
-Nutrition, including the variety of food and how that food is grown/raised
-Supplements including vitamins and minerals
-Humidity levels in the enclosure
-Intestinal and external parasite control
