Housecalls with Dr. François

A housecall visit enables us to reduce fear/stress of our furry loved ones by performing the exam and treatments in the home-setting. They also enable us to assess your pet in their natural environment. We ask for a 1-2 hour grace period from the start of the appointment as travel can be unpredictable. We will text you ahead of time to give a rough arrival time or notify you if we are running behind schedule. 

How a housecall visit works:

Dr. François will enter your home to perform your pet's exam and treatments. If you are uncomfortable with an in-home visit we can also consider seeing your pet in an enclosed garage. Unfortunately due to concern for escape, it is best if your pets are examined indoors.

Cost of services:

A $100 travel fee will be added to the cost of services for all home visits. An estimate for services will be provided PRIOR to your visit unless otherwise discussed. 

Preparing for a visit:

Cats: It is advised to put your cat in a small room such as a bathroom, or in a carrier shortly before the appointment time to allow easy access to them.
Dogs: It is advised to have a collar/harness and leash on them at the time of visit to enable Dr. Francois to examine them more readily without chasing them around the house.
